This carefully curated collection is a celebration of KARHU’s very own bear, the symbol that adorns each of our shoes and by which we are known in the world of sport and fashion.

I like to keep track of less mainstream drops throughout the year so I can reflect on pairs I thought were super interesting at the end of the year. I find this collection by KARHU compelling because it celebrates the brand’s own mascot, but it also arrives at the same time as March Madness and the NCAA Tournament. While the brand hasn’t attempted to co-opt the moments of the excitement generated by the games being played, they definitely could have done a bit more to highlight this collection as the pairs are easily some of the best looking sneakers to release in the last month.
