I’m browsing Kith this morning and I notice the Air Berwuda PRM. On my Amazon shop, for a very long time I was the only person carrying the Berwuda. The shoe sold slowly, but it sold very well at above retail. That’s primarily because no one on Amazon had the shoe, no one.

But this shoe that I just saw on KITH is not the Berwuda. Nike has removed the hyperfuse toe and has taken the Roshe and dropped it on top of the outsole of the Berwuda. This isn’t bad. The shoe looks okay, but it doesn’t make sense. The last Berwuda to drop was a grey Premium which carried the traditional classic Nike running look due to the hyperfuse.
This change is very small and random, but it shows how Nike has been trying to adapt to the classic running blitz that adidas has been on. Nike is looking to catch lightning in a bottle and spark interest in their classic retro line. These subtle changes to a shoe doesn’t look very important, is actually really important. Nike is sweating the small stuff and they haven’t had to do that in a very long time. Pics below of the last Berwuda PRM. What do you think? It’s not that noticeable, but Nike is paying attention to every detail.
