JJJJound from Montreal, Canada was started in 2006 by Justin Saunders as a mood board. Since then JJJJound has evolved into a lifestyle brand with numerous fans. The brand's design ethos - neutral colors, an eye for detail and subtle branding - can also be seen in their collaboration with Vans on no less than three models. For the Sk8-Mid JJJJound opts for a white canvas upper, while the overlays and toebox are set off in light gray suede. As with their collaboration on the Reebok Club C, the Canadian brand does away with the tongue label. This clean overall look is rounded out by the monotone label on the heel and the slightly contrasting colored sole. JJJJound perpetuates itself very discreetly only with a small flag label on the heel of the right shoe.
