Nike continues the Air Max series and releases the Air Max Flyknit Venture! The brand from Beaverton was inspired by the outdoor theme for this model. Max Air was the first visible version of Nike's Air technology. Inspired by the modern inside-out architecture of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Hatfield developed the Air Max and literally opened a window onto the sole of the shoe. And thus started a revolution in the world of footwear.
