I like to train with my daughter during her off-season. She’s heading into her freshman year of high school after a successful middle school track and field year where she won the high jump title and competed in a variety of events. While her coach handles most of her development, during the summer we do plyometrics and trail running to stay active. I decided to give the MTL’s latest sneakers a go with some 100 and 200 work as well as some hill training. It was hot, but the video is not bad at all.
I wanted to test my theory that trail shoes are much better options for training in the off-season for athletes who utilize the outdoors as their gym.
