In this video I discuss shutting down my Amazon store for a second time in October 2021. I reopened the store in September, the previous month. I originally shut down my Amazon account in 2016. The policies being implemented, on the sneaker side of things, can only work for companies with considerable sales and revenue. Amazon’s Refund-No Return and Refund at First Scan Policies allow the consumer to send back worn and damaged product leaving the seller holding the bag.
I discovered a method of offsetting the returns, which can take place up to 90 days after purchase. On the return page, use a picture of a damaged product and do a 100% restocking fee. Once the package is returned you can decide how much you want to refund the consumer. You only have a small window because as soon as the consumer gets the package scanned, they get a full refund.
