SMALL STEPS – BIG ACTION
There is a lot to think about these days – world politics, a pandemic, climate change, and social unrest. It can feel overwhelming at times and sometimes it’s nice to turn your attention to something positive. Taking even the smallest bit of action is empowering. For us here at COMUNITYmade – we look for bright spots that collectively add up to positive change. We have been on a mission to seek out partnerships with suppliers and fellow businesses that aren’t satisfied with just sitting on the sidelines complaining. On our journey, we have encountered so many forward thinking partners who each in their own way, are on a path of change. Our mission is to be a catalyst for change. Change in how products are produced, where they are produced, and who is producing them. We met a company called Blumaka along the way who is revolutionizing the way midsole foams are made. We introduced Blumaka foam in Holiday and have been perfecting their use in our product line since then.
