If you’ve been to our store before, you’ll know that we have a gorgeous painting on display in our showroom and colorful walls adorned with a very unique art style. All of this is the work of KFiSH – aka Kelcey Fisher who is a fixture in the LA art scene. For his latest COMUNITYmade exhibition, Kelcey has handpainted two leather hides for us to turn into our classic Westsider! With only about 12 pairs being made, you won’t want to surrender out on this incredibly limited-edition wearable art and collector’s item!
One of the amazing things about being able to buy something that’s Made in the USA is when you are able to experience the process of creation that is placed in generating the product. The other aspect is understanding the fact that this Limited Edition run doesn’t end up as a 10,000 pair run that contributes to the overabundance of shoes cluttering shelves at sneaker stores throughout the country.
