The construction was poor and the gyms in the series lacked the combination of color and story. adidas is taking a page from their own design heritage and collaborating with London based designer Craig Green.

The shoe won’t find a lot of admirers in the U.S., but in the U.K. where adidas has a nice foothold, it will undoubtedly be coveted. Right now, for me, it will definitely make my list of top gyms. It’s just the right amount of understated design blended with the type of details that will look fantastic with denim or chinos in the fall.
