James Harden is now on the seventh version of his signature shoe, the Adidas Harden Vol. 7, after signing a gigantic $200 million shoe deal with the Three Stripes in 2015.
Harden’s first signature shoe, the Harden Vol. 1 was released on Dec 3, 2016. While its looks were generally panned across the board, a large collection of NBAers used it regularly on court. The Harden Vol. 2 was released in February 2018, with a refined new look and a heavy dose of Adidas’ newest performance features. The third and fourth volumes continued the evolution, with each becoming more popular among NBA players than the last.
Prior to his partnership with Adidas, Harden was a long-time Nike athlete, starting with his days in Arizona State donning the Swoosh, through his first six seasons in the NBA. During that time, he wore a huge variety of shoes, from the Hyperfuse and Hyperdunk, to the Lunar Hypergamer and Run the One.
